Fairbanks Junior Pickleball Tournament – Exciting News for Young Players!
Get ready for an action-packed weekend at the Fairbanks Junior Pickleball Tournament! This thrilling round-robin event guarantees every player seven matches, culminating in an exciting playoff round. Top performers in each age group will take home gold, silver, or bronze medals—a perfect way to celebrate their skills and determination!
Special Opportunity for Younger Players
If your child is the only 10-year-old competing, they’re guaranteed a gold medal in their age group! While they may face older or more experienced players, this is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience against top competition—opponents they wouldn’t typically face. It’s a win-win for growth and glory!
Safety First
To ensure a fun and safe experience, we’ll have a private conversation with older players before matches begin, instructing them to keep passing shots under 35 mph. This allows younger players to compete confidently while challenging older players to sharpen their strategy, patience, and shot-planning skills to outsmart their opponents.
Event Schedule
• Doubles Competition: Kicks off the day with fast-paced teamwork!
• Singles Round Robin: Starts approximately 3:00 PM, right after doubles.
Registration Fees
• First event: Standard rates apply.
• Second event: $15 for members, $20 for guests.
