What’s changed
Two things are new.
First you can now activate your future recurring sessions and set them to Open — so players can register and lock in their spot weeks in advance, not just day-of. The app handles the 48-hour reminder when a spot is available; you just show up and run a great session.
Second, and bigger: we’re now actively promoting round robins the way we promote tournaments and socials — featured placement in the app, a push to players within 50 miles every week, and a spotlight in our social stories. Your round robin was already there. Now it gets found — and filled — by players who didn’t know you yet.
How it works

Pick your day, court, and format — social, DUPR-rated, or a mix. Once it’s set up it recurs automatically. The only thing you need to do each week is show up and run a great session.
Open your weeks in advance
Activate future sessions and set them to Open — players can register and confirm their spot weeks ahead. The app sends a 48-hour reminder post when a spot comes available. Sessions start filling before the week even starts.
We help you fill it
We promote your game to players within 50 miles every week — featured in the app and spotlighted in our social stories. You run the session; we put real reach behind it so new players keep discovering you and coming back.

We’ll be straight with you: this isn’t for closed, friends-only games. Everything Court Captains does — making your group discoverable, featuring your games, pushing them to players within 50 miles — exists to bring new people to your court. If you’d rather keep your game to the same four or eight regulars and don’t want it found, that’s completely fair — Court Captains just won’t do much for you, because there’s nothing for us to fill. This is for organisers who want to grow the game around them, and grow their own network doing it.
What we ask
One real commitment: run your round robin on a regular schedule — weekly or biweekly. That’s it. Consistent hosts build loyal groups; loyal groups fill on their own. You put in the time on court; we put in the reach to help make sure it grows.
We’re launching with 10 Court Captains across city locations to start — which means each Captain gets a genuine slot with real visibility, not a crowded directory. And we’ll never place another Captain at the same time and location as you. Your round robin stays yours.
