Fairbanks Ranch has some of the best pickleball courts in the area, and our tournaments are known for awesome competition, great energy, and nonstop fun.

We carefully match divisions to their skill levels to keep everyone on the court as much as possible with minimal waiting between games. Whether you’re competing for medals or just for bragging rights, this is the perfect event for all pickleball enthusiasts!

Tournament Details:📅 Date: Friday, October 18th📍 Location: Fairbanks Ranch Country Club, 15150 San Dieguito Rd, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067
Format:

• Fixed Partner (Bring your own or message the tournament director to be matched)
• 5-game round robin format, followed by medal rounds (may be adjusted for best gameplay)
• DUPR-sanctioned matches: 4.0+ divisions (Mixed, Men’s, Women’s) – matches will be recorded into DUPR
• Social/non-sanctioned: 3.5 & below – medals still awarded and bragging rights guaranteed

🏅 Top 3 finishers receive medals and are entered into the Golden Paddle 2025 Championship!

⏱ Brackets take approximately 2.5–3 hours from first game to medal ceremony

• Women’s 3.5: Check-in 12:15pm | Start 12:45pm | Medal Ceremony 3:15pm
• Men’s Doubles 3.0/3.5 & Singles 4.5/5.0: Check-in 12:15pm | Start 12:45pm | Medal Ceremony 3:15pm
• Mixed 3.5 & Mixed 4.0 (DUPR): Check-in 2:45pm | Start 3:00pm | Medal Ceremony 5:00pm
• Men’s 4.0 & 5.0 (DUPR): Check-in 5:00pm | Start 5:30pm | Medal Ceremony 7:30pm

Rules & Notes:

• Game Ball: Franklin X-40
• DUPR and MainCourt ratings will be checked for upper divisions; 4.0+ matches will be recorded into DUPR. Don’t worry if you don’t have one—registration will guide you.
• Partners may play above their skill level, but not below (no sandbagging).
• 1st to 11 in round robin; medal matches 11 win by 2, switch sides at 6 (may be adjusted).
• Net (Let) Serve: continuous play. Receiving team must call “out” promptly and clearly.
• Dress Code: FRCC dress code enforced (No tank tops, midriffs/crop tops).

• Visitors: $50
• Bay Club Members: $40
• FRCC Racquet Members: $35

DUPR Players (4.0, 4.5, 5.0 divisions):

1. Register for a free DUPR account at mydupr.com if you don’t have one
2. Join Bay Club San Diego under the E-club section
3. Teams not registered will not be allowed to play (affects DUPR scores)
