Event Notes
Pickleball Social & Charity Event 🎾
Come out for a fun, casual afternoon of pickleball, food, prizes, and community! This event is designed to be social and welcoming for players of all levels—whether you play regularly or just want to come out, meet new people, and have a good time.
For the first two hours, we’ll have open play, giving everyone the chance to rotate, play with different people, and enjoy some relaxed pickleball. For the final hour, we’ll finish with a fun tournament where players can compete in a more organized format while keeping the atmosphere friendly and social.
We’ll also have a raffle with a variety of prizes, including restaurant gift cards, pickleball lessons, and a special gift bag from USA Pickleball Serves. A food truck will also be on-site with food available throughout the event.
I’m a senior at Torrey Pines High School and the president of my school’s pickleball club, and I’m organizing this event to bring the local pickleball community together while supporting a cause I care about. All proceeds from the event will go toward USA Pickleball Serves, helping support their efforts to use pickleball to positively impact communities.
Most importantly, this isn’t about being the best player—it’s about getting outside, meeting people, playing some pickleball, and having fun while supporting a great cause.
