Posting in Main Court

How Posting Works

Posting in Main Court isn’t just for photos — it’s how you reach
players, followers, and groups directly inside the app.

Posting in Main Court isn’t just for photos — it’s
how you reach players, followers, and groups directly inside the app.

A post can be a photo, video,
or a simple text update.

When you post to a group, that group receives a push notification in the evening letting members know a new post is available.

When you link a post to an event, all confirmed players are automatically notified.

When you @mention someone, they’re instantly tagged and notified.

If you @mention someone in that group post, they’ll get an immediate notification on top of the group alert.

Every post you make is automatically shown to all your followers and friends –  so the more followers and friends you have, the greater your reach.

Posting Ideas for Before the Event

Event Announcement

When you create a tournament, Main Court automatically posts a “New Tournament Has Been Created” to
all players within a 25-mile radius of your event. You can follow up with your own post to add personality or
highlight certain divisions: “Can’t wait for [Event Name]! Who’s joining the 4.0 Mixed draw?”

Division Promotional Posts

Main Court also helps promote automatically:

1 Week Before

A post goes out to players who match
open divisions (skill, gender, and
location within 25 miles).

48 Hours Before

A second reminder goes out to those same
players. Post your own post to push last-
minute registrations.

 📣 Call for Players

Ask confirmed players to share your posts or tag friends
to help fill divisions. “Only 2 spots left in 3.5 Mixed
Doubles — tag someone who could be interested!”
