Why You Should Play DUPR

DUPR is the one and only official “universal pickleball rating system used ball all amateur and pro players.

    •    Every match counts toward your official DUPR rating — no previous DUPR score required!
    •    After this event, you’ll know exactly where you stand and have a clear path to climb the ranks.
    •    Perfect for players looking to enter their first tournament, measure their level, or push to the next one.
    •    Fixed-partner format with smart skill-level matching to keep games competitive and exciting.

Location: Fairbanks Ranch Country Club, 15150 San Dieguito Rd, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067

Tournament Format
    •    Fixed Partner (bring your own or message the director to get paired)
    •    Minimum 5-game round robin → Medal rounds / playoffs
    •    Brackets run approximately 2.5–3 hours from start to medal ceremony

Schedule (All powered & rated on DUPR)
    •    Women’s 3.5 & Singles 4.0+ → Check-in 11:45 AM | Start 12:00 PM | Medals 3:00 PM
    •    Mixed 3.5 & Mixed 4.0 → Check-in 2:45 PM | Start 3:30 PM | Medals 5:30 PM
    •    Men’s 3.5 & Men’s 4.0 → Check-in 5:45 PM | Start 6:00 PM | Medals 8:30 PM

Rules & Notes
    •    Official ball: Franklin X-40
    •    DUPR & MainCourt ratings verified for upper divisions
    •    Partners can play up in skill level (no sandbagging)
    •    Round robin: First to 11 | Medal matches: Win by 2, switch at 6
    •    Net (Let) Serve: Continuous play
    •    Dress Code: FRCC enforced (no tank tops or crop tops)

Registration Fees
    •    Visitors: $50
    •    Bay Club Members: $40
    •    FRCC Racquet Members: $35
